Hotels, farmhouse accommodation, flats, and B&B in Piedmont
Piedmont is a rich and varied land, from the marvellous forested alpine zones (Valle di Susa and Cuneese), to the fascinating diversity of the Langhe and Basso Monferrato.
Quaint medieval villages and incredibly varied countryside are only a small part of what Piemonte has to offer. It offers a wonderful variety of culture and cuisine ranging from the Padanian plains to the mountainous regions of Liguria.
There are many interesting artistic styles: the Baroque design of Torino, the little medieval villages, and the fascinating Romanesque churches in Asti and the surrounding areas.
In addition to this the cuisine reaches from the most simple plate to the most refined, with a great variety of cheeses, not to mention the famous ‘Bollito’ cooked dishes featuring the highly sought-after tartufo and other wild mushrooms. The meals are completed by outstanding wines which range from the excellent Barolo to the full-bodied Barbera, from the refined Gavi to sparkling Brachetto.
